Atiqul Islam

LL.M, ABAT
Behaviour Technician

Atiqul Islam is a Behaviour Technician on our Developmental Support Services team. He is a Certified Behaviour Therapist, holds an Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) qualification, and brings a diverse professional background to his role. Before entering the field of behaviour therapy, Atiqul practiced law in Bangladesh, where he developed strong communication and problem-solving skills that support his work with children and families today.

Atiqul previously worked at the New England Center for Children (NECC) in Massachusetts, USA, where he gained valuable hands-on experience supporting children with autism across a range of learning and behavioral needs. His time there helped deepen his understanding of evidence-based, child-centered practices.

With several years of experience working directly with children with autism, Atiqul brings patience, empathy, and cultural awareness to every session. He is passionate about helping children grow in communication, independence, and confidence. He believes in celebrating each achievement—big or small—as meaningful progress.

Atiqul places great importance on building trust with his clients and their families. Seeing children make progress, express joy, and develop new skills continues to motivate and inspire his work in the field.
