Clinical Manager
Feleicia McField is the Clinical Manager at The Wellness Centre, where she provides clinical leadership and oversight across multidisciplinary services, supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care and positive client outcomes. In her role, she works closely with clinical teams to strengthen service delivery, maintain clinical excellence, support professional development, and ensure that care remains client-centred, ethical, and responsive to community needs. Feleicia joined The Wellness Centre in 2017 and has progressed through a variety of clinical and leadership roles within the organization. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in creating safe, validating spaces that foster self-awareness, resilience, emotional growth, and meaningful change.
Feleicia clinical experience spans inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, with extensive work supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, and parent systems. Feleicia utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. As a Registered Play TherapistTM, Feleicia specializes in play-based interventions for children experiencing emotional, behavioural, developmental, social, and relational challenges. She utilizes Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT), Filial Therapy, and Theraplay to support emotional development, strengthen attachment relationships, and create meaningful opportunities for healing and growth.
Feleicia earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy from the University of North Texas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. As the first Caymanian Registered Play Therapist, she remains committed to advancing clinical excellence and strengthening access to quality mental health care across the Cayman Islands.
