Sasha Rankin, MSc, LMHC is a Mental Health Counsellor with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She has over five years of clinical experience providing mental health treatment to children, adolescents, and adults in both the United States and the Cayman Islands.
Informed by family systems theory, Sasha views clients within the context of their relational and social environments. She incorporates culturally attuned practices and integrates therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, and solution-focused interventions to meet the individual needs of her clients.
Sasha’s training and experience allows her to work with clients across the lifespan facing a range of mental health problems, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma and challenges with emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships. Sasha specializes in working with children and adolescents, with a clinical focus on supporting emotional expression, emotional regulation, and healthy developmental functioning. She provides a structured and supportive therapeutic environment where creative modalities, such as art and play, are incorporated to address a wide range of child and adolescent mental health concerns

She maintains a systemic lens in treatment, acknowledging the influence of family dynamics, socialization, and broader social and cultural systems on mental health, and strives to promote sustainable and meaningful therapeutic outcomes.
