Sloane Pharr is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and ESDM Certified Therapist. She holds a Master’s degree in ‘Teaching using Applied Behaviour Analysis’ as well as a 2nd Master’s degree in ‘Psychology and Education,’ both from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her trainings and certifications include: C-SMARRT, Darkness to Light, PECS Level 1, and Adult/Child/Infant CPR. Sloane is also pursuing training as a Certified CPI Trainer in May 2019 in order to ensure that The Wellness Centre staff have the most up to date training with regards to Non-violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. She has 15 years experience working in the field of ABA in the USA, New Zealand, and the Cayman Islands. For the past 9 years she has worked diligently in our community to change the long-term prognosis for children with autism. She has grown our ABA team from 1 to a diverse group of 10 practitioners including ABA Case Managers, Senior Behaviour Technicians, and Behaviour Technicians. Sloane’s passion is helping children, adolescents, teens, and adults to reach their full potential and supporting and empowering parents and community stakeholders to be better equipped to facilitate and encourage lasting change.
